Kylin Prime Group was platinum sponsor for The Chinese New Year’s Dinner 2018 to celebrate the ‘Year of the Dog’. The event took place Thursday the 22^nd of March at Hilton Park, Nicosia. The evening was both interesting and enjoyable and was especially useful for networking and promoting the many services of Kylin Prime Group services, with Kylin Prime Group and Ousheng & Partners banners being prominently displayed. The hall itself was decorated with traditional Chinese red lanterns, with Chinese music also filling the room.

The programme was hugely entertaining, with speeches from the president of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the president and director of the Cyprus China Business Association, Ambassador Huang Xingyuan. Following on from that, Mr. Nicolas Theocharides, Chairman of Kylinprime Investment Fund provided the closing speech.  Nicolas stressed the importance of a strong business relationship between the two countries, and how it is expected to become increasingly cordial in the coming years, as evidenced by Kylin Prime Group’s decision to establish a strong business presence in Cyprus. Nicolas also gave an overview of our group’s mission, values and vision and how much we encourage innovation - both internally and externally.  Finally, our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Alternative Investment Fund Management Company, and upcoming financial services entities of the group were also briefly mentioned.

Followed the speeches, participants enjoyed a live performance from a traditional Chinese drum group dance. Attendees also gained some cultural knowledge, for example; everyone what your birthdate means according to the Chinese zodiac! To conclude the evening, a beautiful Chinese dinner was served.  The event also enabled staff to relax and unwind, as they got the opportunity to spend time together, meet each other’s spouse and much more! Overall, a delightful evening was had by all and we look forward to seeing you at similar events in the future!
